Fehmida Chipty is a Boston based, fine art photographer. Trained as a physician, she had used photography in her profession for many years before exploring the wider world with her camera.
Photography has become her means to engage and find beauty in far off vistas as well as in simple windows and walls in her own neighborhood. Her present focus is on the use light and reflection, in both nature and architectural photography to create depth of composition and unique perspectives.
Fehmida’s work has been exhibited in several juried shows; venues include the Mattatuck Museum, Watertown, CT, Black Box Gallery, Portland, OR and Five Points Gallery in Torrington, CT. Her solo exhibition, of Iceland Landscapes was featured at the Gallery at Healthworks, an alternative venue in Cambridge, MA.
